God

God, in the Bible, is presented as the supreme being, creator of heaven, earth, and all life. Unique, eternal and omnipotent, he is described as a personal, The word god comes from the Latin deus, itself derived from the Indo-European root dei- "to shine" which, expanded to deiwo- and dyew-, is used to designate the luminous sky as a divinity, as well as celestial beings as opposed to earthly beings. Depending on the belief, it is either a person or a philosophical or religious concept. It is at the origin of monotheistic religions.
In Christianity, God is triune: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. In Judaism, he is one and indivisible (YHWH). In Islam (Allah), he is strictly unique and transcendent. He is considered a source of morality, wisdom, and salvation.
