Notre-Dame de Relanges Church
The Notre-Dame de Relanges Church, dating from the 11th and 12th centuries, is a fine example of Romanesque architecture in Lorraine. It has a cruciform plan with a ribbed vaulted nave and a semicircular apse choir. The exterior chevet is decorated with engaged pilasters, giving verticality and sobriety. In the 16th century, Gothic elements, such as pointed arch windows, were added during the reconstruction of the nave and side aisles. Listed as a historic monument in 1899, the church harmoniously combines Romanesque and Gothic styles.
