Saint-Paul, a French commune in the Vosges department, has a history marked by its religious heritage and its demographic evolution.
Since 1793, censuses show a fluctuation in the population. In 1793, the commune had 242 inhabitants. This number reached a peak of 305 in 1806, before gradually decreasing over the decades.
The church of the Conversion-de-Saint-Paul, the central building of the commune, houses a bell dating from 1781, testifying to the importance of Christian worship at that time.
