Notre-Dame Church of Removille

The Notre-Dame Church of Removille, built between the 12th and 16th centuries, is a fine example of flamboyant Gothic architecture in Lorraine. Its chevet is decorated with tracery windows, while the square bell tower, with its Romanesque bays, bears witness to the Romanesque-Gothic transition. The south façade has a Gothic portal framed by pinnacles. The interior, vaulted with ribs, has a central nave flanked by side aisles. The ribs are integrated into the columns without capitals, characteristic of the late Middle Ages.
