Vosges commune (88140) with 70 inhabitants.
Outrancourt, a former French commune in the Vosges department, was mentioned in the Middle Ages under various names such as Holtranni curtis in 1105 and Hottrancourt in 1663. On October 7, 1743, a fire almost completely destroyed the village. In the middle of the 19th century, Outrancourt was distinguished by a tinned iron cutlery factory employing eight workers and producing 9,000 dozen cutlery items annually for the French market. On January 1, 1965, the commune was attached to that of Contrexéville under the simple merger regime.
