Hagnéville-et-Roncourt is a commune resulting from the merger of two old villages, each with its medieval roots and a deep rural heritage.
Formerly attached to the Duchy of Lorraine, the commune joined France in the 18th century. The two villages, Hagnéville and Roncourt, share an agricultural and artisanal past, which has forged their common identity.
