Circourt-sur-Mouzon is a village with a rural and ancient past, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.
Formerly under the protection of local lordships, it went through the upheavals of Lorraine history before being integrated into the kingdom of France.
The life of the commune has long been centered on agriculture and craft trades.
