Bulgnéville

Commune of 1500 inhabitants near Vittel.

Bulgnéville is a village with a rich past, known for its famous battle of 1431, where the troops of the Duke of Lorraine, René d'Anjou, defeated Antoine de Vaudémont and his Burgundian allies, a significant event in Lorraine's history.
Formerly under the influence of the Dukes of Lorraine, the village joined the Kingdom of France in the 18th century.
Bulgnéville developed around agriculture and local trade.
