Purely ornamental stained glass windows are decorative compositions without figurative representation. They are characterized by geometric, floral or abstract patterns, creating plays of light and colors. Their function is mainly aesthetic, embellishing the space while filtering light. They are often used in religious buildings, but also in civil architecture. Their design highlights the richness of textures and the transparency of the glass.
