This stained glass window depicts Saint Henry, a canonized Christian ruler who was Holy Roman Emperor in the 11th century. The central medallion highlights the saint in bust, dressed in an imperial outfit in rich purple and gold colors. The saint is depicted with a raised sword, an ornate crown and a globe adorned with a cross. The frame of the medallion is composed of a deep red background, the color of royalty and martyrdom, and a decorative gold frame, decorated with plant motifs. The stained glass window is designed in a semicircular bay in which finely decorated white glass around the central medallion allows for better diffusion of light.
