The
Saint-Agnan
Church
in
Houéville
is
a
religious
building
located
in
the
commune
of
Houéville,
in
the
Vosges
department.
It
was
rebuilt
in
1862
by
the
contractors
Ernest
and
Eugène
Durand,
originally
from
Removille,
according
to
the
plans
of
the
architect
Fourquin
from
Saint-Ouen-lès-Parey.
This
reconstruction
replaced
an
earlier
structure
that
had
been
in
poor
condition
since
1816
and
was
probably
demolished
in
1860.
The
church
is
dedicated
to
Saint
Agnan,
Bishop
of
Orléans
in
the
5th
century,
and
is
a
central
element
of
the
commune's
religious
heritage.
