Saint Joseph Church

This stained glass window offers a vision of the Holy Family, Joseph, Mary and Jesus.

This stained-glass window with two vertical lancets is topped with a quatrefoil. Each lancet is framed by a colorful border composed of stylized floral motifs, interlacing, and repeating quatrefoils on a red, blue, and ivory background. The left lancet features a male figure identified as Saint Joseph because he holds a stem of lilies in his left hand and, more importantly, because his name is written in his halo. The right lancet shows the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus. Mary wears a crown and is dressed in blue and pale pink. The Child Jesus, dressed in white, rests in Mary's arms and extends his hands in our direction. The two main figures are depicted standing on a green ground, and above them, stylized architecture can be seen, evoking the spiritual city. At the top, the glazed quatrefoil, decorated with polychrome geometric patterns, completes the verticality of the window.
