Aingeville

Commune of Vosges (88140) of 60 inhabitants.

Mentioned since medieval times, Aingeville was marked by its historical belonging to the Duchy of Lorraine, before being integrated into the Kingdom of France in the 17th century.
Like many border communes, it suffered the effects of wars, particularly during the Thirty Years' War and the Franco-German conflicts of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The heritage of the commune includes rural stone houses and a church, reflecting its local history and its attachment to Lorraine traditions.
