The pointed arch arrangement of the stained-glass window, typical of Gothic architecture, frames this scene with great solemnity. In the center, a man immersed in water is half-naked, wearing only a light drape covering his waist, with his arms crossed over his chest. His humble and reverent attitude indicates that this is the person being baptized. To the right, a figure in liturgical vestments, wearing a halo, pours water over the head of the person being baptized. This is probably Saint Remy, Bishop of Reims, recognizable by his pastoral staff and his role in French history. To the left, a monk carries a large red cross. Other figures in white or red habits witness the scene.
