This stained glass window dedicated to the memory of the priest Phelisse associates Saint-Isidore-le-Laboureur with Saint-Pierre-Fourier.
This stained-glass window dedicated to the memory of Father Phelisse consists of two main lancets adorned with neo-Gothic architectural decoration and topped with a quatrefoil. The colorful frame and fine details attest to the refined work of master glassmaker Janin of Nancy, late in the 19th century. The scene on the left depicts Saint Isidore the Plowman, dressed in a simple habit and carrying a flask, praying outside before a large wooden cross. The background reveals his field being plowed by an angel and an ox. On the right, Saint Peter Fourier is dressed in the habit of the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine, a black cassock, and a cloak. He is surrounded by worshippers or students, as he is known for reforming education and founding the Congregation of Notre-Dame. The quatrefoil at the top of the stained-glass window is decorated with a stylized plant motif on a red background, framed by foliage.
