Saint-Pierre - Saint-Paul Church

This stained glass window depicts two fundamental figures of Christianity: Saint Peter and Saint Paul.

This stained-glass window depicts two holy figures, emblematic of Christianity, positioned on either side of a crucifix placed in front of the work. The window consists of two lancets with a deep blue background. On the left, a haloed figure dressed in yellow and red holds a key in one hand and a book in the other. This is clearly Saint Peter. On the right, a figure dressed in purple and green holds a sword in one hand and a book in the other. The sword is the characteristic attribute of the martyr Saint Paul. The whole is topped with trefoil windows decorated with stylized floral motifs, typical of the 19th century, a period when many rural church windows were remade in a neo-Gothic style.
