This two-panel stained glass window depicts two major episodes in the legendary life of Saint Nicholas. The window is set in a neo-Gothic frame with pointed arches and ornamental motifs typical of the period. The richness of the colours, mainly purple and gold, gives the whole a sacred solemnity. The borders are finely worked with floral and geometric elements. The two panels are separate, but visually linked by the continuous presence of the ogive architectural ornaments In the left panel, Saint Nicholas is depicted as a bishop, wearing a mitre, an episcopal crosier and a richly decorated chasuble. In his right hand, he holds a purse filled with gold coins, symbolising the act of charity he performed towards three poor young girls. The second panel, on the right, illustrates another popular legend, the miracle of the three resurrected children.
