This intricate stained glass window shows Saint Martin, Saint Paul, Saint John the Baptist and the translation of the Santa Casa.
This stained-glass window with three vertical lancets, typical of the 19th-century neo-Gothic style, depicts a complex scene where hagiographic representations and a miraculous scene overlap. From left to right, we recognize Saint Martin, Bishop of Tours. He is dressed in a purple dalmatic and a red cloak. He holds a sword, emblem of his soldiery. Saint Paul, in the center, is dressed as a Doctor of the Church, in a green cope with gold trim on a purple background. He holds a crozier and makes a gesture of blessing. To the right, Saint John the Baptist is recognizable by his camel's hair tunic and cruciform reed staff. He points his index finger toward the sky. These lancets are enhanced with Gothic architecture, pinnacles, and foliate corbels, creating a niche in the style of sculpted altarpieces. The central medallion at the top depicts the miraculous translation of the Santa Casa carried by angels from Nazareth to Loreto.
