This stained glass window depicts the Holy Family.
This richly decorated, semicircular-arched stained-glass window is part of a homogeneous ensemble of ornamental stained-glass windows. It is signed J. Janin, master glazier in Nancy, in the lower left corner, and dated 1897. It is structured with a floral border surrounding a geometric grisaille field with stylized foliage motifs, itself arranged around a central oval medallion. This medallion represents the Holy Family. To the left, Saint Joseph, the carpenter of Nazareth, is haloed, standing, dressed in a yellow tunic and a red cloak. At his feet, his tools are visible. To the right, Mary sits, dressed in pink and blue, holding a distaff. Between the two, a lily represents the Child Jesus, standing, haloed, in a light-colored garment, seemingly reading. This richly decorated, semicircular-arched stained-glass window is part of a homogeneous ensemble of ornamental stained-glass windows.
