This stained glass window represents Saint-Élophe at the bottom.
This stained glass window dedicated to Saint Élophe is part of the stylistic and architectural environment of the stained glass windows of the Saint-Rémy church in Rollainville. Like the previous ones, it adopts a semicircular arch with a rich polychrome decoration mixing floral motifs and acanthus foliage. The balance of colors, between sky blue, red, and gold, gives the whole a solemn harmony. In the center of the composition, Saint Élophe is represented standing, occupying the vertical space with dignity. He is dressed in a red dalmatic bordered with gold, indicating his status as a deacon. In his right hand, he holds the palm of martyrdom, a traditional sign of the holy martyrs in Christian iconography. In his left hand, he carries a sword, an allusion to his torture which, according to tradition, was decapitation. His peaceful gaze, directed towards the faithful, as well as his golden halo, affirm his holiness. At the bottom, an inscription “SAINT ÉLOPHE” allows the figure represented to be identified without ambiguity.
