The stained glass window presents three scenes from the life of Saint Christopher, created by Jules Fremotte in 1885 and donated by notables of Neufchâteau.
This stained glass window consists of three vertical narrative scenes, each representing an episode in the life of Saint Christopher. Analyzed on the inventory site of the Grand-Est Region, the bright colors and meticulous details of the stained glass window bear witness to the know-how of Jules Frémotte, a master glassmaker in the 19th century. We see the Conversion of Saint Christopher on the left, Saint Christopher carrying the Child Jesus in the center and the Martyrdom of Saint Christopher on the right. The scenes are framed by Gothic architectural motifs, such as pointed arches and pinnacles, reinforcing the harmony with the architecture of the church.
