This stained glass window represents the vocation of Joan of Arc.
This vertical stained-glass window is set into a semicircular arch. Halfway up, in a richly gilded medallion, stands Saint Joan of Arc, seated in a meadow. She is dressed in a simple tunic, her sleeves rolled up, and her hands resting on her knees. At her feet, two brown sheep anchor the scene in the Lorraine countryside of Domrémy, her native village. Above her, three celestial figures stand out. In the center, dressed in yellow, haloed, and winged, stands the Archangel Saint Michael. He points the way Joan must take. Beside her, two female saints identified as Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Margaret of Antioch bear witness, by their presence, to the mystery of Joan's divine vocation.
