This stained glass window represents the transmission of apostolic power between Jesus and Saint Peter.
This single-lancet stained-glass window is structured by symmetrical Gothic floral frames, punctuated by narrative medallions and polychrome motifs, typical of 19th-century stained-glass windows. At its center, within an architectural mandorla, the Risen Christ hands the keys of the Kingdom to Saint Peter. Christ, standing, surrounded by a cruciform halo, is dressed in a green cloak and a red tunic. He entrusts the keys of the kingdom to Saint Peter, kneeling as described in Matthew 16:19. Peter, humble, receives this gift while gazing at Christ. The scene is set within an architecture representing the heavenly Jerusalem and is framed by Gothic pinnacles and arches. Two medallions depict the four evangelists. At the top, Matthew is represented by the angel and John by the eagle.
