This stained glass window depicts an emblematic scene from the life of Joan of Arc, illustrating one of the key moments of her vocation. On the left, Joan of Arc, depicted as a shepherdess, is barefoot on the grass, wearing a simple dress with a blue bodice and a red skirt. She is surrounded by sheep. Above her, an angel, identified as the Archangel Saint Michael, leans towards her. He holds a sword and points to a symbolic horizon, representing the divine mission entrusted to him. On the right, two crowned saints, richly dressed, stand before her. One carries a lily and the other a palm branch. They evoke Saint Catherine and Saint Margaret, the saints that Joan claimed to hear in her visions. In the upper medallion, a representation of a house with traditional architecture, is probably that of Joan of Arc in Domrémy, the place of her childhood. At the bottom of the stained glass window, we can read an inscription hidden by a statue: “His daughter...
