This stained glass window represents the call of Joan of Arc by the Archangel Saint Michael, Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Margaret of Antioch.
This stained glass window represents the call of Joan of Arc by the heavenly voices. The scene divided into two parts is placed in an ornate gilded frame. At the bottom, Joan of Arc, dressed as a simple shepherdess, is kneeling, raising her hands to the sky. At her sides, a shepherd dog and some sheep, symbolizing her life in Domrémy. At the top, three celestial figures. The archangel Saint-Michel, in golden armor, standing in the center, holds a banner and points to the sky with his index finger, to his left, Saint-Catherine-d’Alexandrie holds out the sword of combat and Saint-Marguerite-d’Antioche, wears the helmet. The angels are haloed. The frame is decorated with plant and geometric motifs. The stained glass window is a gift from Madame Claude Didelot. This stained glass window represents the call of Joan of Arc by the heavenly voices.
